'Higher Pastures' is a family run Bed & Breakfast, consisting of a 18th Century large farmhouse,cottage, barn, garden and courtyard, all elegantly renovated to local tradition.

Accommodation is in our Bigourdane-style farmhouse or the family Cottage. We provide accommodation for all parties from twin- and double-rooms to family suites. All bedrooms, each with private bathroom, are decorated and furnished to ensure a high standard of comfort.

For your convenience, we have two large double rooms on the ground floor for people with reduced mobility (but not equipped for disabled persons)

For your peace of mind, we have two secluded spaces for family accommodation, each with a double room for the parents and a kids' room with two or three single beds.

You can appreciate the traditional French breakfasts with freshly baked bread and home-made jam, coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the main oak-beamed reception room., There is a large wood-burning stove creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Weather permitting, meals can be taken al fresco on the terrace.

A heated swimming pool is available for all the guests staying at Les Hauts Paturages during the summer season.

Although we are animal-lovers, we cannot accept visitors with animals, for hygiene reasons

Evening meals are provided on the French system of Table d'hote, which basically means that you join us at our table for the 4-course evening meal. We use as many products from the garden as possible, and try to offer typical regional dishes. Please order your meals 24 hours in advance.

 

July and August in the Cottage Minimum stay - 2 nights

During the summer months of July and August, all the bed and breakfast accommodation is in the Cottage only.

We have rooms available before 14 July and after 4th August

Upstairs on the left there is a family area, with a double room for the parents and a twin-bedded room suitable for children. There is a private toilet and washbasin adjacent, and a private shower room at the bottom of the stairs.

Off to the right on the ground floor is a independent twin bedded room, with spacious Italian style wetroom.

A copious breakfast is served in the family kitchen, and evening meals can be arranged on the 'table d'hote' system.
